The Bills have bolstered their roster this offseason, particularly the defensive line. A few players are entering the final year of their current contracts, and players behind them are waiting for an opportunity. Buffalo also needs some cap relief, as they currently have $2.6 million in space.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook made some headlines this week by pinning a comment on his Instagram livestream, saying, “15 mill year.” Subsequently, Cook has unfollowed the team on social media. This new move used by athletes in recent years is particularly common during contract negotiations and when the player is unhappy with how things are going.

The offseason came earlier than any of us had hoped, and it has quickly become a rumor mill of who wants to be traded, along with some confirmed availability of big name players. The Bills Trade for Amari Cooper
All of the attention was on Davante Adams and the Bills “monitoring” the situation over the last week before seeing the Jets finalize a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders this morning. At some point in the last 24 hours, the Bills changed course, or quite possibly went in the direction they had been going all along, and made a deal with the Cleveland Browns today for wide receiver Amari Cooper.
